The foods you are eating in your diet should fit in your pocket and be available. You may find that some of the food is fresher at fairs or street vendors, but you should not go out of your way to buy most of your food.

Flexibility in the real world

The most common nowadays is finding a diet to lose weight that dictates exactly what you should eat, when should eat and how to eat (and some are restricted to a certain type of food, such as diet vegetarian). But, suppose you wake up on a Monday morning and instead of wanting the oatmeal you should eat, you feel more in order to eat a veggie omelet. Both are healthy food choices.
