How to prepare

Beat the egg yolks in the mixer with the sugar, then add the oil and the orange juice. Beat until smooth. Pour this mixture into a bowl, incorporate the rice flour and baking powder. Ingredients:

  • 2 cups orange juice;

  • 1 pinch if salt;
  • 3 thin strips of orange peel;
  • 1/2 cup canola oil;
  • 1 tablespoon yeast.

Syrup

  • 1 cup demerara sugar;
  • 2 cup orange juice.

Preparation:

Beat the eggs, juice, orange peel, sugar, oil and salt for 3 minutes in the blender. Add the flour gradually and continue to beat. Pour into a bowl, incorporate the yeast by gently mixing and place the dough into a medium-size silicone or greased and floured form. Take it to the preheated medium oven until golden, the time varies according to the oven. Prepare the syrup by mixing the two ingredients in a pan and leading to low heat. When you are most consistent, set aside. Unbake cake and cover with syrup.
