  • Pulmonary function testing can help determine if your lung capacity has become affected.
  • Biopsy involves taking a sample of tissue that can be checked for granulomas.

Your doctor may also order blood tests to check for kidney and liver function.

Sarcoidosis Treatments: There is no cure forSarcoidosis. However, the symptoms usually improve without treatment. Your doctor may prescribe medications if your inflammation is severe. These may include corticosteroids or immunosuppressive drugs (medicines that suppress the immune system), which may help reduce inflammation.
