OSleep-walkingtends to disappear during adolescence, but may also occur in adults. In these cases, it is commonly more related to other health conditions than to a sleep disorder itself.

Sleepwalking Treatments:OSleep-walkingis a benign sleep disorder that may disappear spontaneously in children. Treatment is only necessary when the episodes are frequent and may offer risk of accidents or embarrassment for the patient.


In these cases, it has been useful to use drugs that combat tension and anxiety states and act on the sleep pattern, including benzodiazepines and certain antidepressants.
